9/11; Never forget.

Debunking conspiracies by linking to .gov sites isn't excatly the best way to go about it when the theorists themselves don't believe what the government says :p.

To paraphrase Malcolm X, it is 10 years since the chickens came home to roost.

I can't help wondering where the permanent memorial will be to the hundreds of thousands of "innocent people" (I have always wanted to meet an un-innocent person!) who have died across several continents as a result of the "war against terror"

You reap what you sow.

I always find it fascinating looking at pictures of 11/9.

(I'm not sure if it's just me, but in such destruction I often find it quite beautiful, I enjoy looking at pictures of things like Chernobyl too)

Found this on youtube, i find it pretty disturbing at the end, its from a bloke called Kevin Cosgrove who was on the phone just as the WTC collapsed.
:(

I wonder if you would feel differently if to pay us back they detonated a bomb in a built up area that mean you grew up without parents.

Why does it bother you so much that the Americans want their own memorial. Why have the chickens come home to roost for all those innocent Americans but not the "innocent people" who you say have died in the war on terror. Perhaps the chickens have come home to roost for those too?

Perhaps they deserved it just as much?

:(

I can't even imagine the fear he was in or the pain that recording must give his family.

Statiscally 9/11 americans won't get this.

Sorry, had to be done :)

As for seriousness, I honestly believe that if we are going to commemorate the Americans who died on that awful day, then we should also commemorate every innocent civilian that has died as a result of america's and our own reaction. Our armed forces have to take the blame for their deaths as well as the Americans do.

I'm honestly in disbelief at the comments in this thread, just when you think people have reached the lowest of the low....

I'll never forget that day, where i was at the time, and watching it all unfold on TV...
