I only noticed today that 9/11 is the American emergency services number.

So by the same token you don't agree with remembrance for World wars because of equal empathy for all humans?

Sorry but i don't care any more.
Sorry but that has made me realy ANGRY!!..
Think before you type stuff like that!!
Found this on youtube, i find it pretty disturbing at the end, its from a bloke called Kevin Cosgrove who was on the phone just as the WTC collapsed.

To paraphrase Malcolm X, it is 10 years since the chickens came home to roost.
I can't help wondering where the permanent memorial will be to the hundreds of thousands of "innocent people" (I have always wanted to meet an un-innocent person!) who have died across several continents as a result of the "war against terror"

Statiscally 9/11 americans won't get this.
Sorry, had to be done
As for seriousness, I honestly believe that if we are going to commemorate the Americans who died on that awful day, then we should also commemorate every innocent civilian that has died as a result of america's and our own reaction. Our armed forces have to take the blame for their deaths as well as the Americans do.

I always find it fascinating looking at pictures of 11/9.
(I'm not sure if it's just me, but in such destruction I often find it quite beautiful, I enjoy looking at pictures of things like Chernobyl too)
