What's the quality like for the streaming movies? Are they HD?
Dont believe so
Oh really? Was about to sign up and had just assumed HD. Anyone know when they will switch?
The streaming is 100% not HD. And the sound! Oh my![]()

We also found we ended up getting films we didn't really want to watch particularly but thought, "meh, we might as well" - so we decided to save ourselves the £19 a month.

Yeah, I think you reach a point where you've pretty much seen everything you actually want. Especially if you're on the unlimited package. It's also annoying that they still have a silly beef with Universal.

It depends on how imaginative you're being with your film watching - Lovefilm is fantastic for broadening your horizons past what you would normally find in a shop or on TV, and furthermore I find myself "taking a chance" on films that I wouldn't necessarily ever think about buying, but I'll watch them via Lovefilm because there's very little risk (other than my time...).
The IMDB top 250 is always a good start, but practically any film above a 7.5 on IMDB is worth a watch.
