Is there anywhere that list the specs (minimum) for decent FPS at each resolution etc ?

It is strange.

However comes to think of it, how will DICE decide what PC config will form the bases of recommended specs, seeing as there is large variety in cpus and gpus lol

Recommended will likely be 4gb RAM, Quad core CPU, of at least xxx ghz.

They won't go to far into specifics

Just reading back through the game modes post and re rush mode, EA claim "Rush: the Bad Company mode will be available in Battlefield 3 and will support up to 24 players on console and 32 players on PC."

Do you think they will still include the 10 / 12 / 16 player maps also for PC, as in most of the previous BFs?

Just asking bcos sometimes I prefer to play with less players on a map to make the game a bit slower and more strategic. Maybe I'm just gretting old.. :\

I might play the sp first then the multiplayer, cause if i do it the other way round ill never touch the sp.

I always do that anyway, it's nice to get a feel for the guns and gameplay before you jump straight into the competition.

I would have rather they put ALL their time and effort into making the multi-player the best it could possibly be, I mean that's what you play Battlefield for!

I want to play it and think 'wow' this is the best fps I have ever played! A true sequel to BF2

Hmmm...

Well, I for one like a decent SP to complete the package. As for being a "true" sequel to BF3, it's already obvious it isn't. I'm not saying it's going to be bad, I played the BF3 Alpha and it was FANTASTIC. But, it's not a true sequel to BF2, its closer to BC2 then BF2, but at the same time, it's a much better game to BC2. It basically combines the best bits from BF2 and BC2 into one game.

The main thing I am concerned with is the scale of the game. The maps are smaller, tactics are less, and it’s more accessible. We all know why that is. The fish game.

You could also argue it's this era of gaming due to the limitation of the current next gen lol consoles, rather than blame it on a specific game.

The dev's can only do what the hardware let's them do.

Well I would rather they made a PC exclusive and charged a lot more for it. I would happily pay more for a real BF3 than keep wasting my money and moving from one **** game to another.
