Sorry i've recently heard news that they're re-mastering all the old Metal Gear games. Will the 1st one be there or are they going from 2 upwards?

Two upwards, from memory I think one was left out as it would have taken far too much work to go from how it was to a decent standard for today.

Pretty sad really but that's how it is.

So another lost sale then, as i've played the other ones.

Why in the ****'s name do companies do this? They could have easily used the Gamecube version, I personally would have been happy. This and Capcom with resident Evil remakes too, it's ****ing retarded and pointless.

I would pay £40/£50 for RE1 & RE3 remakes on the 360/PS3.

I am happy with MGS2/3 and Peace Walker as I have only played 1 out of the 3 games, I see why people would be annoyed, but I also understand how dated MGS 1 is and the problems with porting it to HD.

Cant wait to play snake eater again on my PS3. I regard it as one of the best games of all time.

Did anybody shoot all the Kerotan frogs to get the Stealth Camo ? I remember it took me ages to do and one of them you could only hit it with an RPG as you sped past on a motorcycle it was very tricky.

Cant wait to try this again.

Not too worried - take their time as Id rather spend more time on these in Q1/Q2 next year than the run to Christmas with all the other games. Pre-ordered a while back tooo....

Twin Snakes isn't quite the same as actual MGS though. I'd rather play the proper game than the re-make.

PS3 users can just import then, not sure if the 360 is region free but I have a Region 1 version of MGS4 and that works just fine.

GameTrailers video review

Looks superb, they've done a fantastic job cleaning up the visuals. Rather jealous that the Americans get it now and we have to wait, but it's a blessing in disguise really considering all the other games out at the moment. Still, can't wait.
