God people over reacting much? GAME sent e-mails saying it would not be released early form them, It got to you today on its RELEASE DATE! You haven't got it late or early but on time.
Whilst i agree GAME are not the best shopto are, Least if people are going bash a shop have a valid reason or one that its legit not whining cause you didn't get it that one day earlier.
*** This isnt aimed directly at you im just sick of people whining and bashing places when the reason isnt even valid.

That's why I went for midnight pickup at one of their stores.
You can't rely on any of the mail order companies, sometimes they're brilliant as some of the replies in this thread have shown and sometimes they're slower than you'd hope. My copy of Bioshock 2 arrived a whole day (crivens) late, where as my copy of Crisis arrived a day early - both ordered from the big river place.
There's too many factors beyond their control to be able to make an accurate judgement on who to order from. You've got supplier deliveries, Royal Mail, and general demand to consider each time.
You weren't lucky this time, which is a bummer. But I wouldn't go avoiding a retailer as a result. Sure it's a disappointment, but I still use the big river place. If I want something guaranteed I take steps to make sure I can get something as close to release as I can in an assured manner. Hence queuing at midnight in my local Game.
edit - more importantly, get playing!

Im loving Horde mode at the moment.
Hahha, I like the Beast mode. Even though I spend the whole game running round as a little Ticker.

I've not tried that yet. I like the currency, although i tend to find at around wave 16 / 17 i dont earn enough to maintain barriers

You each earn individual cash based on kills / kill assists.
You can then spend it on building barriers, repairing barriers, turrets, guns, ammo etc etc.
Everyone can repair anyones turrets / barriers as well.
I don't mind not getting it early, it's luck of the draw if you get any game ahead of it's intended release date but to pre-order it and to have it delivered at 5pm on the day of release is a **** take which ever way you look at it. Why bother pre-ordering it if it's going to show up that late? I could have just popped down the local Asda and got it at 9am.
If they're going to plaster all over the box not to deliver before the 20th the least they can do is specify a pre mid day delivery imo

Anybody else think the graphics are very very poor. I suppose it may be because I am playing GOW 1 on the PC which looks 10x better then GOW3 on the 360. The graphics are putting me off.
