As has been said, heavy doesn't mean built better. Where would Ferrari and others be if this was the case?
Saying it's better built isn't what they mean. It's all about 'perceived quality' as we've discussed many, many times!

For me the same argument would still apply.
If someone thinks it feels lower quality because it's so light, that's their opinion and they're entitled to it. I think it's a shame they would think in such a closed way, but that's up to them. I'm saying it's not actually a fair judgement is all.
The great thing with Android, there is so much choice. You don't like the SGSII, just move on and try something else
People should perhaps be more accurate though and say 'its too light for my liking' rather then 'the build quality is poor' because it simply isn't true.

Ferrari and others would be parked on my driveway not in my pocket so I'm less concerned with their weight
You would if it was so heavy that VW Golf drivers keep leaving you behind at the lights!
Guys everytime i change the screen timeout and screen lock settings they always return back to stock.A few times now i have tried to change the timeout to a minutes instead of having to touch screen every few seconds, also screen locks after a few seconds even tho i have set screen lock to five mins.Any ideas how to fix this?

There is no official 2.3.4 update out yet in this country, for some reason Samsung are really dragging their ass getting it out.

dont agree with that. gf has an iphone 4 and my sgs2 feels so much better to hold. iphone 4 has sharp edges and is too heavy. the only thing i prefer about the iphone 4 is its better in sunlight.

If you are happy with Vodafone, you can make a post on their official Forum asking one of their Web Relation Team to contact you, and they will nearly always match (or beat) any Vodafone deal on offer from a third party reseller.
The problem with the iPhone is that Apple are very strict about what can be offered, but it is certainly worth a try... especially for anyone who is after a Samsung Galaxy 2!
