What is the exact release time of the beta, i know that countdown is in UK time as it goes by your computer timezone but will it be released at 12 midnight UK time or USA? or is that the correct countdown.

Snip of my post from another thread on the EuroGamer Expo:

2. BF3
They (thank god) had a PC area for it. But this 'PC' demo area was about 1/5th the size of the console demo area. The line for BF3 on consoles was twice as long as the line for BF3 on PC. They gave away free goodie bags with stuff for the console players ONLY. Plus, there were about 50 TV's to demo BF3 on for consoles and a total of 16 PC's. WTF is with that ****? Really ****es me off when pretending to be part of the master race of PC gamers. God dammit.

It was fun tho overall, a bit alpha nerdy, not sure I fit the crowd.
I got a CS:GO Beta key and t-shirt!

The BF3 demo was on some nice rigs with mechanical keyboards (never used one before) but I couldn't tell if we were still playing alpha code. It was 8v8 deathmatch in the last part of the Metro area. All the guns were unlocked, at least I think it was all, including the attachments. You only had about 10 minutes to play so I only got to try the M416 and AN94. Wasn't enough time to really say much other than that it was fun and I'm still pumped for the beta.

Hmm dmcg, feel a bit bad for before; and not saying it isn't going to fail for trying to be COD. Though do you see now; did you even play the PC version?
Nice one rogueblade.

lol @ the members of the PC gaming master race who thought the BF3 would mark some kind of 2nd coming of PC gaming and all the sales decline over recent years would just evaporate over night come release date and they would be more important than console gamers again.

DICE said that the PC was going to be the lead development platform, not the platform with the sales they most value.

I think they also realize they have to win the console crowd over, PC players are already in their corner :)

Nobody, aside from a very deluded minority, thinks this

Who actually thinks this? lol

PC platform is great and forever will be: great.

BC2 sold very well on consoles so BF3 I reckon will too.
