Doesnt it unlock the rockets at some stage?
I just tried the wretch and it's now my fav beast locust. In 12 rounds I got 42 kills. It's awesome, jump over walls and whup them. It's also supreme for kill stealing
Oh, you don't get them at the beginning? I guess that would be why I've never seen anyone firing them. LOL.

I couldn't get a single kill with a wretch yesterday when trying beast mode for the first time. I think I might have been doing it wrong
I just used the Berserker all the way through, it made it far too easy and felt like cheating

Use the wretch all the way through, you can jump barriers with RB and climb over obstacles with A. Wait for someone to down someone then steam in.
I followed a bezerk and got 12 kills in one of the later rounds. Plus I've noticed if you down and finish someone that counts as 2 towards the melee mutator. I got all 200 in 5 rounds.
Looking forward to Insane now with Insta melee, unlimited ammo and super reload

You can only jump barriers in the early rounds though? don't go high enough for laser fences,
Apologies if this has been mentioned previously, I haven't played either of the previous 2 GoW, is this needed before I play 3?
Also, from the reviews I've read this game won't be dropping in price anytime soon, is it worth waiting a little bit or should I just pick it up at £33 (cheapest I can find delivered) as I have a few friends asking me to get it for online play.

Was playing some multiplayer last night, thought the single player campaign was poor but I ended up spending a couple hours on mp. I like how quick the game restarted wasn't allot of waiting in the lobby's.I still don't get how people can just roll next to you and blow ya head off, I can never seem to hit anything with shotgun, also I couldn't get my head around the way the weapons spawn on the map, befor the game starts does the host change the weapons ? Because the guns were changing on map befor the game started
the power weapons often rotate between 2 different choices, the map should tell you which is in play from one round to the next.
No, it's not needed but if you can get hold of them, I would.

Gunkers driving me crazy on insane! The section where you slide down the rope I'm getting insta killed less than a second after landing!
Might have to wait for a partner later to hopefully take the first blast on casual to give me breathing space. The splash damage from them on insane makes COD's grenades on vet a walk in the park

I might try horde tonight, took me ages last night to figure out how to change my character for multiplayer and weapon loadouts.I also got a achievement for killing a infected last night 50 gamer points in my first game, also managed to chainsaw 4 people in a row was pretty funny, snuck up behind the other team after the 1st person I expected them to hear the chainsaw but nobody turned around

It's not that bad I've just done it in about 7 tries. All I did was move to the right behind cover, toss 4 frags at it then I nailed it with 2 full clips of lancer one of which was a full active reload.
I can see what he's getting at because it's completely cheap and a pain in the arse, but it's not as hard as he makes out, co-op could be a different matter alltogether though.
The range does need tweaking clearly from that video, but why would you buy MW3 when you ranted about the others and nothing will have changed in that either

I may rant about COD but i've never been fed up of one of them in less than a week. I am with this game due to one weapon. The "F-Off" as i'm now calling it.
