I'm not sure if that's a server side setting or something just for the Beta but it's annoying as anything.

if the bc2 beta was anything to go buy...then graphics, textures and effects wont be as good as the final retail version. this could be same. the beta is only to help them get servers etc working an to do some tweaking on feedback.

I've been downloading the BF3 Beta from the Reddit torrent (it's not dodgy, you still need your key) but it's going to be 6 hours with my connection, WAHH.

Ea have admitted to an advertisement typo regarding the early beta access, apparently those who purchased MoH LE or pre-ordered BF3 will get to play the beta 4.8 hours before the open beta, not 48 hours.

Funnily enough I was just thinking the same thing myself while watching that live stream. In fact from what I've seen so far all of the weapons look 'awkward' when running.

I mentioned this ages ago. I hate that when you are following your squad mates running, their guns are all over the place yet when you run they are fairly static. Doesn't look realistic.
