6870 with an old 720BE @ 3.4Ghz, 4gb RAM, 1920x1080, high settings (HBAO and motion blur off) sitting pretty at 50-60fps on Metro. Haven't tried Caspian yet.

Oh my god. What a waste of money my 570 was
Bare in mind beta appears to be lacking proper ultra settings and even some of the high settings don't seem to have the assets/shaders to work fully at their intended level.

Here my settings and fps on metro.
60-70ish fps most of the time so happy with that for now

5770 with that spec is quite embarrasing, you should get a 6970 or something along those lines.
I know I am skint and I had my 5770 in a dual core e8200 2gb ram, but a guy from work moved away and sold me his rig with no gfx card so I dropped my card into it but wont be upgrading for a few months, maybe xmas time
on my gtx460 [about the same performance as a 5770] @ 1920x1080 with everything set tyo ultra and 4x aa i get 40-60fps
i also have a 1055t but mines stock.
your game should bve perfectly playable at 1650x1050
GTFO 5770 was one of the best cards around when the 1055t came out, i think the only better ati card was the 5850
Am I gonna be able to run this at medium or with some settings on high with my sytem? V modest by today's standards although I get decent enough performance with everything on high with BC2 MP (the only game I really play).
Having a v limited budget for upgrading, prob around £150 and will be playing at 1650x1080. Any recommendations/advice? Just itching to get playing tomorrow and then weeping when my machine begins to squeal!

Yeah, when it came out, not anymore.
Well if you would be do kind as to talk me through it I would be most appreciative.
I have tried:
Just plain using the buttons in the control section and it shows "unknown value" or something like that, and doesn't work
Using the assigned button as a "macro" in the razor software I.e. Button 5 = "c" for crouch (as key binds) and it doesn't work - despite the button press showing as a "c" in Word

I even have issues with assigning more than 2 key binds, I select an action, click to assign - first two work fine - any more the xvreen just "locks" and I have to hit escape to go back a step on the option memu and no key is assigned
I'm using a razer Lachesis with the 1.10 drivers and 1.95 Firmware (checked and updated as the latest version)
If anyone that has managed to assign mouse buttons successfully can give me some suggestions they would be most welcome

yea and they are probably still perfectly fine for most games which is why some people still have them
im sticking with my 460GTX until i really need to upgrade it rather than fooling myself into thinking i need the best gfx card around to run games.
its not that i cant afford one either i just spent £350 on an RC car last month
