Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

Game is a bit of a beast but I'm happy with performance of this, I'm getting 25-50 FPS on high (with texture and effects on Ultra), with 5870 1GB. This is with 2 x Quad Core 2.26Ghz Xeon's and 12GB RAM.

  • Got to Battlelog & Log on
  • Sever Browser
  • Filter
  • Select Caspian Border Map & press view severs
  • Lots of severs apear
  • Try and get in one useing the password 'sexyelevator'

Its fairly lagy and you will need a lot of bandwidth to connect as most of the severs are in europe and the states, and are extremly busy. But give it a go, took be about 10mins to get on, and had about a round and a half of fun.
 
Played 1 full match of Caspian, I'm happy :D

Not going to try getting on again right now as it's too stressful, I think they'll add more servers and remove the passwords soon.

Pretty much my spec apart from 8Gb RAM in mine.
Runs nice and smooth with Textures set to ultra by default. plays well!

Get around 80+FPS outside and 100+ indoors. CPUs only clocked to 3.3 too but GPU usage is 99% on both cards! Oh 1920*1080

This memory leak is seriously geting on my nerves, it wasnt in the alpha wth have they done to get it in the beta? i though the idea was it was an improved alpha not a borked one.

So did you got the game working on both machines with the same code, or did you use a separate code for each machine?
 
got on to one Caspian server for about 30 seconds then it froze, since then I have managed to log in to one or two but the screen is blank even though I can hear the game sounds

thanks i got on one and its massive, hardly saw an enemy and most people just hang around by the jest and helicopters.

getting above 60 fps on 1920x1080 6950 2gb with high settings
