Yeah but I presume that's going to be sorted before final release. Like I said, if it isn't then it's a fairly stupid move from DICE imo.
 
well I've started my BF3 beta download which is zooming down the pipe @ 280-300kbs maxing my connection (don't laugh!!) - games.on.net site although it does seem to be available everywhere. Hope it works !!
 
hope the game isn't going to be launched from a browser system like what they have at the moment. I like it better as a stand alone program like all previous games...anyone know this?
 
Is there something wrong with my sound or can you just not hear people coming up behind you?

I've been knifed quite a few times from behind because im sitting somewhere and heard nothing yet suddenly I get this you have been knifed animation ><
 
The browser is pretty good, i think because it's different ppl dont like it. the interface is easy to use, and the filter works very well to choose which game you want to join.

on BC2 the refresh server page took an age, where as the browser takes 5 seconds.

Weapon change isn't supposed to be instant, this isn't Quake ^^

AFAIK gun damage is based on the bullet fired, so with the pp2000 you have a 9mm round, but UMP45, is obviously .45.

I really like the weapons in general, they all feel really good/realistic and powerful

What i mean is changing from gun to medic or rocket takes an age, so by the time you switch weapon your dead. i guess i just have to get used to the mechanics of game. but coming from BC2 to BF3 weapons feels totally different

Don't assume I was camping.

It has happened multiple times when I've moved to an objective after clearing it and then I scout around for any left over enemies. I take a seat somewhere to check no one else is coming and then I get knifed from no where.

Also camping is part of the game when defending an objective. Take that attitude elsewhere, it is a TEAM based game.
