Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

Ok guys the easiest way to get onto the caspian server is just keep refreshing the filter page, once a game finishes it kicks all the previous players off and resets back to zero.

type in the password in notepad and select copy.

Now when a server is 0 select Join and Paste password in, worked for me everytime i got in server in minutes.

best servers are the EU
 
Anyone else getting strange performence form this game. I know its only a beta but still. A lot of graphical bugs and when I change setting from low to ultra, I don't see any difference in Image quality. My fps also don't increase or decrease with different settings. I only notice changes when I change my resolution from 1080p to 1440x900. Also I don't notice any jaggies even at 1440x900 even though my AA is off.

At 1080p on ultra I get around 20 fps but when I switch to low I get around 30fps. At 1440x900 both setting low/ultra there is almost no fps change and the image quality don't seem to change.

Using GTX 460 768MB, 1090t stock and 4GB ram. Also using the beta drivers for battlefield 285.38 version I believe.

Also it's a pain in the ass having to switch to a browser to change servers. Why is dice trying to fix something that is not broken. Idiots.

Nah, its just that people are lazy, they could quite easily spend 30sec looking for the information if they wanted to, but its far easier for them to moan about it and start making outlandish claims about things which turn out their completely wrong about.

For the amount of venting on here, you'd think people would have taken some time beforehand to find some info out for themselves, instead its like they've been in isolation for the last month and have just been released into society and we've been lumped with them and their ignorance.

Theres annoying things about the game which probably dont have concrete answers yet, and asking about them seems perfectly reasonable to me. Its the persistant questions about easily obtainable info (just looking back a page or 2), and the ignorant claims people rage about which arent accurate, but based on their lack of knowledge, thats whats annoying IMO.

Once u change video settings u need to restart the game!
 
I work for a living aswell.

It is a couple of things that need to be added to the OP not an essay. Maximum of 10 lines and a couple of links. Yes I'm sure that requires you to give up work and spend an enormous amount of time from your loved ones.

Seriously some people are REALLY over the top.

Paul you missed the point completely, it would take less than 30 seconds if the information was in the first post. We wouldnt have 257 pages in this thread for starters!
