Well, I was considering Ultimate Team but it uses Legacy Defending? Seriously? :confused:

The new H2H Seasons mode is great for ranked 1v1 anyway, I think I'll stick to that.

Even though my 'beat the noobs who haven't played the pre-release version' plan failed last night as I was in division 8 so was against more decent people. On top of that, absolutely nothing went right for me! :mad: :o

Better luck today I hope. :cool:
 
I played 3 games of UT - 1 win, 1 draw and 1 loss. Each game, upon exiting the game after the coin overview, it booted me. I don't get the coins, it records it as a loss and I lose the contracts. On the plus side, it doesn't affect fitness. Grr.

(Having looked through, is that what was happening to you anksy?)

Playing career mode at Pro level till I get the hang of the defending. Man U on World Class just walked through my defence in UT.
 
So is FIFA 12 worth it?
I have £35 on a Gamestation gift card from trade ins but struggled with the demo.

Having read above, it seems the full game is just as difficult?

It isn't difficult, it's just different. It is absolutely worth it, the gameplay changes are big.
 
Forgot to ask, anyone on the lookout for players from certain team/nation in UT?

Will hold on to any if I get them for yous

on 360 btw.

I played inter vs bayern and lost 7-1 :confused: ive never lost my that margin at all everything to CPU seems to do turns to gold literally and i just cant get going forward. I know Ive only had it a few hours and played a few games but i hope i get better at this. I thought i got over the learning curve in the demo and was actually not to bad but the full game :eek:

gonna go back now see if i enjoy it on professional level which im ashamed to do :p

Dude, they beefed up the difficulty levels. World class really is hard. The devs felt the difficulties were abit soft so made them a lot harder.
 
How soon do Tesco normally run out? I've always been able to go first thing on previous launches, but have had to wait until after work today...nervous times!

There was shed loads of copies in Rugby Tesco's when we popped in to get my workmate a copy. Of course we bought it at the ciggie kiosk, which was just a long line of 20-40 year old blokes each with fifa12 in their hands ;)

I seem to alternate between being totally in the zone defensively, able to stop everything, and being utter bobbins and unable to close a player down without running straight past him - this is versus another player by the way.

I got done 3-0 last night by a mate who's normally a lot poorer than me. Of course he was Liverpool & I was the beloved Toon so that may have had something to do with it... Played another mate who could slaughter me on 11 while so drunk he could barely see, stopped every attack and sneaked a 1-0 win.
Versus the CPU I appear to always be fairly shocking, hehe.
 
I was bidding on milans boateng befor , the bidding started at 500 1min left though if I can get him for 2k or 2.5k I'd take him, some guy started a bidding war ended up around 4k so searched for all the boatengs and one was finishing 20secs and was 1.5k nobody had bid do I stuck a cheeky bid in and won him for 1.5 lovely jubbly
