I find myself being killed and asking myself "from where?"

Hit markers are useless as well, it's like WTF I'm dead, did something hit me?
Yep this happens for sure, but i've found you just need to adjust your play and you should be able to reasonably do better. At the start I was playing like it was BC2 and that got me killed. a lot.
More checking before darting out of cover, more flanking, more crawling along sneaky ways etc. Worked OK for me on my last games, i've played well for my last bunch of games so starting to get the hang of it.
I still think there is some dodgy goings on though, people glitching under ground (me included) where you can kill people without them being able to see you, or be killed in this manner. Also you seem to be able to shoot through solid rock as well, or be shot through solid rock.
Also still think bullet damage is a tad too high in general, can't help but feel this game would be better if guns did about 25% less overall damage.
Anyone else noticed theres a rock on metro at the very left that defenders can glitch over, down that little area beside the first objective A with the foliage corridor. Theres been a few times i was shot and you can literally see the bare tip of the enemes head, yet they can shoot you as if theres much more of themselves seeing over the rock.
There are two rocks outside at the first 2 mcoms that can be shot through and spotted through.
Attackers sniper rock, far left, everything on the left of the tree can be shot through. Defenders corner rock before mcom A, everything on the right closest to the corner and some it near the tree where it clips into the ground.
Disagree about weapon damage, if you are daft enough to run across open ground without checking, you should be punished for it, not sprint across all hunky dory because people won't be able to finish you off in the time it takes you to get to the next piece of cover. There's battlefield heroes for that malarkey.
