Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

i know :( first time i played it i was like wow, im just getting so boored with this crap metro map it's unbelievable, it's just frustrating to only have 1 map to play, they didn't even give us a another conquest map to show BF3 in it's glory, i have to say the BF3 Beta is such a shambles didn't even give us a conquest map to try, which is why so many people started hacking the servers, then they threatened the community to ban people, not the way forward DICE! this is a sign that people are sick and tired of playing the same godamn buggy map that they want something new. But hey only 3 weeks till the full release.

Sorry but until you reach 1000 posts you won't unlock the special person achievement.

Well i was lucky enough to have password every time they changed it. Basically each night the password was either leaked on here or one of dev's would send out the password over twitter.

There were a few Caspian servers up at the start but they have since been removed.
 
There was a workaround so you didn't need to enter a password, Caspian Border isn't available now though.

You think its boring now... Should have see Alpha stage, where they placed the MCOM's ment 95% of the time you'd be stuck playing the first stage!

I'm not worried about the game at all, they've done an amazing job and really feels different from anything i've ever played, the little things like lazer, tripod flash light etc to me really make it!

Any1 who's not enjoying it i'd say: Get a 870 shotgun put a red dot on it with 12G slugs and run round the underground tunnels.... EPIC FUN!!
 
I thought I'd be bored of Metro by now but it keeps drawing me back for more.

Maybe because I'm quite rubbish and keep getting a bit better each time I play it. Tell you what though, I love the firefights you get in the corridor leading to the store rooms between the two subway tunnels. :D

I couldn't agree more.

Graphics aren't any better to my eyes in the Metro map underground in the tunnels the models look like cartoons or carboard cutouts and sound isn't even close to being on par with BC2:eek:

Will wait for the full release as its a buggy POS as it stands.

Haha this is what i've been trying to tell people! The close quater fire fights really are a touch of genius, i just hope they dont nerf the 870... :D

When my 5970 doesn't go into fits and reduces my fps, or crashes, it's the MK11.
 
same as valdez for me tbh, I really like metro. The guns / damage all feel spot on for me although the ump is a bit of a 1 shot killer I don't mind it.

Same as BC2 though they will likely change everything between now and release and make me hate it. Exact same thing happened on BC2 when they changed the damage model.

I've only played Assault (love it) and fav gun is the either the AK-74M or the M16A4, yes the sad stock guns, no optics just a heavy barrel and fore grip and away I go. Having just got used to the map I've been out hunting rather than playing safe.

Sunshine on sniper scopes is ridiculous tho, no where for them to hide, even a wookie costume wouldnt save them lol.

When in game if you hold down Ctrl+Alt+s you should see a graph top left on screen showing which DX version the game is using and shows your framerate. Although you will move backwards ha!.
