screen is excellent for web browsing - resolution is not an issue in the slightest.

Full screen web browsing is excellent with 3rd party browsers like Miren.

3GS res was way too low.

I hope you understand, but this is a massive thread so I cant read it all.

Virgin text me earlier and offered me this phone for free on their £27.99 a month tariff.

I was considering buying an iphone but now, after reading reviews, i'm all confused.

My main smart uses for my phone will be taking photos (very important), recording video, watching video (utube), music and some light internet browsing.

Do you think I would be better served with the Sammy?

EDIT: A good sat nav function would be a massive bonus.

It's a superb phone, don't be put-off by the fact that networks are giving them away free whilst the iPhones still carry a price premium, it's still considered a very high (if not the highest) end phone.

mrk, the camera on CM7 n72 is dodgy, I get a few force close messages when switching to video. It was the same on n71 but I'm sure it worked fine before then

I took the plunge and wanted to update my Blackberry 9300, and took up the offer of a SG2. Will get it today along with my sammy mesh back case and phone devils screen protector too ... Can't wait to get my hands on it, hope I ain't disappointed.
