Currently very fed up because he's broken his toe and has to wear the collar because he keeps chewing his foot/the bandage

Snap!

Took her out for a long walk on Saturday and she must have trodden on some metal or glass whilst dashing around like a loon. Now has a nasty and deep slice in one of her pads, and has to suffer the indignity of a collar. Luckily the bleeding has stopped though, so she can go without a bandage and its not bothering her too much.

This is Isis

Picked her up on Friday from a refuge, her last owner died of alcohol poisoning apparently and the dogs were going to be left to starve in a nearby woods.

She is housetrained but not trained on much else so may take a while for her to settle down a bit.

Labrador-Collie cross? She's a dead ringer for our Bella (couple of posts up), even has the same white chest.

I love dogs with different coloured eyes. It seems to happen a lot with husky-type dogs, is there a reason for this or is it just a coincidence that I've seen a few husky kinds with blue/brown eyes?

My dog's half husky and he's got one blue eye and one brown. I think it's just in their genes!

Heterochromia is a common trait in Siberian Huskies.
