Good.

We need less rambo snipers anyway.

Each to their own, but nerfing snipers because a large group of, quite frankly, kids whinge about it on official forums is the biggest **** take in the world. Just because they can't use the weapon well doesn't mean everyone else should be held back by it.

The AWP in CS is essentially a one hit kill for reasonable shots, and that game is perfectly balanced. Holding it back on modern games is ridiculous, especially when they claim it's "their most realistic experience yet!".

Aren't sniper rifles in real life, practically one hit kill weapons anyway? Considering the size of the bullet.

Yes and no, "sniper rifles" is a bit generalized.

The rifles used by most armed forces now would do more than just kill in one hit, they'd annihilate the body.

I wouldn't mind snipers getting multi-kills or one shotting as long as you had to set them up like a bipod mounted machine gun first... running around with it pressed up against your shoulder should severely dent its accuracy :P

Yes and no. I agree that "real snipers" should be a lot harder to use, and bipods would be better. Guns like the Mk11 though are designed to be ran around with and still provide accurate fire, hence why they're assigned to Squad Designated Marksmen ;)

Getting a bit off topic though...

3 Hours till Caspian for me :D

Not happy, the game runs like crap for me now.

Even worse than when I tested Caspian Border for the first time.

Gettin 43 fps average and 29 minimum (but usually stays in between 35-45 range). Still feels like I was gaming in slow motion. :(

This map looks way better then operation metro and it's close quarters too.

Operation Firestorm looks good but I think the flags are a little too close to each other.

Even at 1024x768 res, there are instances where the caspian border game seems to stutter/freeze for a split second. Although I haven't checked but hope vram isn't exceeding the limit even at that res :(

1GB 5850 here

Right all 4 cores at about 85-95% on my 955 3.8GHz, dunno whether that's limiting things or not :s

Does anyone have 6950s in crossfire on a i5/i7 that I could compare to?

This game isn't hitting the vRAM limit, it just prefetches textures on the card's memory.
