But the slides show the 8150 matching/faster than i7 2600K... why would they possibly price it against the i5 2500K...

I can see the six core being £150, to replace the 1100T.

But the 8 core will be i7 pricing.

Because AMD price things using a balance of profit and volume of sales.

For example with graphics cards, nVidia's prices are nearly always quite a bit higher at the same performance levels.

It would be nice if the FX8150 came with a water cooler as standard. The Antec water cooler pictured is around £80 on OcUK.

Very nice cooler, I went with the Antec 920 because of the on-screen software it came with, Look's great.

i have a feeling that cooler will be a separate product also. i guess the BD's on release day will come with a standard fan cooler
