Gears of War 3 Dated (Official blah blah)

Such a good game, imo the first two aren't hard to complete but the storyline is great. If you get the other 2 cheap then i'd definitely recommend it.

think its pretty cool as i was on Horde last night i have have old man fenix as my character and some of the stuff he says is great :p

Managed to do insane on my own, only about 2 parts that got me frustrated, other than that generally easy, end battle especially.

Playing big head mode online as well, rather fun
 
Wow.......................

Well I picked this game up yesterday from my local Asda and again wow.

I have never played the Gears of War franchaise and never really wanted too, to be honest. I am not a great fan of shooters that don't involve shooting other human beings.

But there I was sat on my bed playing FIFA 12 and Gears of War 3 popped into my head. I had a impulse buy I guess and I am glad I did.

What a great game. The single player so far I have found to be very, very good (just met the woman in charge at Cougars Stadium). I love the guns, the animations, the dialogue. Its all great.

I have also had a bash at the Multiplayer and I like the team deathmatch mode where you only have a limited number of respawns per team.

For me this game has a huge longetivity feel for me :)

Gogo pickup gears 1 and 2 on the cheap, a lot of people (me included) rate the story of those titles higher, although yes the third is good :)
 
Yes, the campaign in Gears 3 is total tripe compared to the first two. I'm finding it a struggle to even get through without falling asleep. Horde mode is the best thing about this game.

I'd say GoW2 has the best SP Campaign, but GoW3 has the best MP (improved Horde is superb).

If anyone wants to co-op, i've done it all in Hardcore 2 player, but i'm after the 4 player achievements and Impossible mode.

I think I've done the first 2 Acts in Impos + 4 Player, but don't mind going through again.

Blimey. I'm knackered. Just finished Horde mode on casual 1-50. Took me 7 hours with gaps for tea and toilet. And now it wants me to do it again on normal difficulty. Bugger that. Until I get my fighting Onyx decoy anyroad.
