lol @ live BD benchmarks. FX-8120 just got a Cinebench score of 4.89 at stock (which is 3.6 GHz with turbo on all cores, I think??).

i wanted a 8150 @ 4.4-4.5ghz gives the same or slightly above performance as a 1090t @ 4ghz in non 8threaded app i'll be very happy

The RAM is running in single channel. The chap in the video mentioned it and here is a picture of the system:

The CPU cooler is too big and it means two RAM slots are not usable. On top of this it is hard to say which BIOS version is being used.

95 fps 1st pass, 30 fps second pass.

Faster than i7 in 1st pass but slower in 2nd pass? Makes no sense, unless they're not using v3 of the benchmark.

because it would have clocked to around 4.8-5ghz and in 8threaded apps it would have gave a big boost..

but anyway it's not going to happen

Different CPUs will respond differently to memory bandwidth. Even Llano shows a small increase in CPU performance moving to faster RAM. OTH,a Core i5 seems not so affected by it.

There's obviously a problem, it's the fact there is a problem this late in the game that's worrying.

Can someone with 6 cores "bandwidth starve" their CPU, and run dual channel then single?
See what difference it makes.
