Might take a few weeks to get to me, but I'm in no hurry
I dont have any personal experience, but i'v heard that the XM-L T6 is a better light.
Hmm how can I remove my pedal. The left handed threaded one won't come off.
Have tried plus gas, heating with blowtorch. Using a 1/2" breaker bar with an 8mm allen key bit on the end, just wants to round off as the allen in the pedal must be slightly oversized making it a looser fit.

I've been trying to look at this bike all frickin' day! Not sure about the green, I kinda liked the 2011 black frame but I think it's black & white for 2012?![]()

Ive been naughty, It goes on the front of the bike, and its called R1.![]()

Only the front as cost me £230 with rotor and new padsIf you're turning from inside of the crank, are you trying to turn clockwise or anti-clockwise?
Turning from the inside of the crank clockwise using a decent Halfords Pro allen attached to a decent sized breaker bar, so not struggling for effort.
The pedals are Shimano M540's.
Thinking to clamp the crank in a soft jawed vice apply heat and then impact it to break the crud seal.
The left hand side pedal came off no problems, undoing it the "normal" way, the right hand side is opposite threaded I am correct in thinking?
M540s should have a 15mm flat for a pedal spanner though - I'd be using that personally.
The M520 have flats for a pedal spanner but I don't think the M540 has. I may be wrong though!!
