For a start flying a chopper in BF2 is best with a mouse, secondly I can own just as easily with a mouse and keyboard or a joystick in jets, believe me you have no clue who you're talking down to.

Looks to me like he's talking to the forum clown.

You've been spinning this "I'm amazing at battlefield yarn" for ages. It's just got laughable now.

You know what they say about those who shout about it the most....

Just ignore him? He's just trolling and the more people who keep saying the same things to/about him just makes it more successful in his eyes.

Sorry if I'm going over old ground here, but from reading around I can't believe the number of people that are nervous of prone being in the game. People are quoting dolphin-diving and noob exploits, but failing to consider that a warfare game in which you cannot shoot from a lying down position is horrifcally CoD / arcadey.

People should have faith that they've stopped insta-prone, dolpin-diving, and prone-related exploits. If these are fixed, what other negative aspects are there? A war game that you can't shoot from prone in...lol.

Raven has some good points sometimes, but it's hard to take him seriously when 90% of the time he's trolling or spewing out crap. Maybe if we ask the mods nicely they'll unban him from the graphics card forum, so he defects back there :p

I found flying choppers in BF2 difficult with a mouse, so I bought a joystick. It was ok but against pilots using the mouse and keyboard I was disadvantaged because you can turn a lot quicker with a mouse. I kept the joystick for jets, but used the mouse for choppers. Not that I was great with either.

So true. There is a very simple reason you cannot play as well using a jet on a mouse & keyboard, rather than a joystick. There is no mousemat big enough, or arm long enough in the world to be able to do it!

He has revealed his EA I.D?

Actaully you can if fly well with a jet if you get the sensitivity right(quite high for myself),well i can quite easily.

So anybody actually used any of these game key sites and had good results?

Got it for a cheap at Tesco's ages ago for £22 but apparently they rarely hit release date deliveries. So going to pay a bit more to get it on origin.

I've ordered mine from CDKeyhouse. Only time will tell.

I had the joy of using an MX518, and now that's dead, the G400 Logitech sent me as a replacement. The great thing about both of these mice? On-the-fly sensitivity change, perfect for jumping in and out of infantry and air warfare. I can bump up the DPI high enough that it will actually turn so far that I barely have to use the mouse - you can turn the jets ridiculously easy in BF3 anyway, compared to BF2.

Flying choppers with a joystick just feels wierd to me, I'm much happier using a mouse and keyboard, that way I can roll the vehicle as much as I want, and turn whenever I want to, letting you get out of situations quicker that merely trying to roll around using a joystick.

The only thing that using a keyboard obviously doesn't bring is throttle control - but in BF3 there doesn't seem to be a lot of need for this, as every time I've flown in the choppers, it will hover when you're not applying upwards (W) or downwards (S) force. Makes it even easier than it needs to be ;)

The Jet and the Chopper were fine on a keyboard and mouse for me, took some practice, but i prefered it over my Xbox 360 controller.

The only time I struggle with M+K is in the jets when turning hard, there is a split second where you have to lift the mouse and move it before carrying on the turn, can be annoying. Otherwise I'm happy, wouldn't use anything else.

I found the keyboard and mouse fine. If by fine you mean taking off, inverting and then exploding in a ball of flame once rapidly reacquainted with the ground... I tended to stay with the infantry a lot after that...
