recieved an email from game about my preoder that has me slightly concerned. I ordered the game months age, long before the beta.

Thank you for preordering Battlefield 3 from GAME

Due to the epic size of Battlefield 3 we have a lot to do to make sure it gets to you
in time for launch day. As a result, we will be processing your order and charging your
payment card a little earlier than usual.

You may receive an email informing you that your order has been cancelled.
If your order has been cancelled please place a new order on www.game.co.uk/battlefield

If your payment has been successful you will receive an email letting you know that your order is on its way. It will not reach you early, this just means its being held ready for delivery on launch day.

Please note all courier tracking numbers will not be active until the evening prior to the release date.

question is: why would anyones order be cancelled at all? after all a pre-order should mean the order is secured....anyone else have this? seems a bit of an odd thing to do.

Ok so I just looked and got kinda scared :(

I cannot play untill the 27th?!
I though I could play on the 25th... I've taken a freaking day off...
 
Anyone know if it would work getting a mate in Australia to login to Origin on the 25th to get mine unlocked instead of messing around with a VPN? Their date is the 25th and he's a real life mate so no worries there.

Just been talking to live assistance and if you pre-ordered the limited edition prior to them including the physical warfare pack then you dont get it.
 
I remember the BC2 was activated on EA downloader (now Origin ) five days early much to the rage of people who bought dvd versions :D

hoping they do that again !!

I'm changing my Tesco order to Origin, even though I've never spent £40 on a game ever. This is the reason:

Status: Awaiting Despatch.
Estimated despatch: Within 1 to 2 Weeks from 19 Oct 2011 ....

That could be sometime in November!

It did say delivery in time for release when I order it though....

Only saving £7.00 through Tesco though anyway. I could save that by not having 2 or 3 beers one night.
 
Anyone else ordered from OCUK?

What are they like at posting games out... I know I cant play it until Friday when Origin unlocks, but it would be nice to have it ready for then.. Thursday ;)
 
Sorry to sound like a broken record but will my PC be able to cope lol

Its a Core2Duo 8600 @3.3ghz
4GB ram and a 9800GTX

Sorry I can't be a bit more specific, not on the PC at the moment.

God! Luckily my manager was ok with me to swap the free day to 27th but now I read your post, it's gonna unlock on the 27th at 11:59, so basically you can play it from 28th? Guess I've got more swapping to do :D
