****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

Back on Leomar 2.7.1, I don't know what it is but I swear my 3G/HSDPA felt slower using KI4, also weird wireless issues at SOME wifi points but not all, with speed mainly.

KI3 2.7.1 just...works so i will keep until ICS :)

Are O2 ever actually going to release any updates for this thing? Mine is still sat on 2.3.3, and yet other networks are on 2.3.5 I believe?

Utterly hopeless, I'm done with them after this contract (not just for this alone, I might add).

Why would you want MORE clicks then needed?

Android uses widgets to deliver information on the homescreens, so you don't necessarily have to use the actual apps unless you need to.

Common settings are available from either the notification bar or the Menu button when pressed on the homescreen, and the rest of your apps are on the Applications screen. Fairly simple really.

Im on O2 and upgraded to 2.3.4 last weekend. Using Kies took about 5 minutes or so.

Chainfire's app doesn't work on the new models.

There is an app on the market by Helroz (iirc) that does work, but it's more risky, so ENSURE you have an /efs backup before touching anything.

Cheers for that mrk, will stay at KI3 too then, happy with it. Bring on ICS.

I'm on 2.3.3 with Three and have not had any problems with my SGS2, what does 2.3.5 offer and is it worth the upgrade?

Lock screen unlock should be a bit smoother. Other than that not much really, a lot of the discussion here is by us geeks upgrading just for the fun of it while in reality stock 2.3.3 is pretty good.

Hmm annoying, I updated (Via Kies) to the latest T-Mobile update and now I've lost the ability to change the message themes. So now I'm suck with the crappy default one, with no way to change it.... hmph!
