So I nodded on a rx8 that I have ended up winning and am regretting already!

56000 miles
Warm starting problem ( could just need a new starter) or a full rebuild)
No service history (but he's given me the name of previous garages that have services it)

Now my worry is its sold to me for £2050 for a 55plate rx8 230bhp 6 speed manual! Is that not dirt cheap???

Everything that sells at the mo is selling dirt cheap, You may have picked up a bargain.

The worst that can happen is you waste a pile of cash fixing a clocked, completely broken waste of £2000.

Why on earth did you bid on it? A working RX8 is not exactly expensive.

Frankly you deserve all the hassle you'll get for bidding, unseen, on a non-running example of a car you know nothing about - you were at the stage of asking us what to buy only a day ago - so good luck with it.

Ain't the least worst that you back out of it and eBay tell you off or something? Can't get negative feedback from sellers anymore.

The description doesn't fill me confidence reading between the lines I'd say he bought it cheap had it tested found it needs a rebuild and is now trying to get shot of it

Also is a rx8 a saloon or coupe ?

That doesn't look that bad.....so good luck!

It depends how much £2k is worth to you really, can you write it off without being burn?

Rotor tips worn out probably, don't know how much it is to replace, bet it isn't cheap. And they drink the juice like a really weaponised motor, but they aren't :(

99% sure thats going to need a new engine.

I know, because i did something v similar - ended up taking it back to the seller and getting a refund.
