Got a problem when playing and I have an Asus Directcu II 570. The problem only seems to occur when I finish a multiplayer game or when there is a checkpoint in single player. Up unil those points I can play the game fine but it will freeze when it reaches them and say not responding and I have to ctrl, alt, delete to get to desktop. Extremely annoying as ruins both sp and mp.

Anyone getting big drops to ~10fps?
Doesnt matter if i put settings down. In 2560x1440 ultra its runs fine at around 40-50fps but then there will be random drops to 10fps

Well got it working, even though i was installing latest drivers that were auto detected it didnt seem to install them. Found the ones i needed manually and it's ok now. Bloody hard though, so out of practice with FPS games but am starting to get a few kills now.

Loving this now, back in tune with the 1st tier assault riffles and starting to get back to how I played beta. Really gutting though that the mortar abuse is really destroying metro rush now. It's not much of an issue on other maps but because there's no obstacles in the way on metro we are seeing 8+ attackers just spamming the com points. Not seen an attacking team get past round 1 now for 2 days.

Oh who is [ocuk] insta BTW, seen him on the beer drinkers quite a bit.

i would say gfx memory, you got the 1.2gb or 2.5gb version?

i have 2x 2.5gb and at 2560x1600 i see 2200mb gpu memory usage

Does anyone get the problem where when you launch the game from origin it starts up in windowed mode even though in the settings it set to full screen?
Every time I join a game I have to go to settings lower the resolution, untick full screem, apply, maximize the window, tick full screen, apply, then up the resolution back to my native and then apply again and its back to full screen proper!!

Its driving me mad having to do this all the time

Had my first go with the EOD bot last night and it was HILARIOUS! I took down a tank with it, then I went through a building, and tried to kill an enemy engi, who just sat there staring at me while I did lol. He had no idea what it was! I was in tears of laughter by the time I'd finally managed to run him down lol. They're tough to drive though.

Had some good craic with a few lads on mumble too, would be cool to get more people on there.

Did you have someone on mumble pack it with C4? The EOD bot and the Recon's MAV are hilarious for that, especially now that we have 64 player maps. Drove the EOD bot down the stairs on Metro conquest last night and a mate ended up with 12 kills from one detonation of the C4 he strapped to it

360 controller just arrived this morning, i got it for flying jets but it just occurred to me it'll probably make the EOD easier to drive too. Little bugger moves as though skating on ice.

Press alt + enter. (this is bascially cycles window mode/full screen) works on many, many games.
Pretty sure it even says that in battlelog.

haven't played a pc game for ages but used to love BF2 and to a lesser extent bad company 2. How would this run on a Q6600 @ 3.2, a 5770 radeon and 4 gigs of ram?

I have a similar setup (only on a dualcore tho) and have bf3 on high textures with hbao but everything else on low/disabled (AA etc) and the average FPS is around 50 on the big conquest maps and 60 on the smaller maps like metro on 1920x1080
