Id say you should be able too. What res mate?
GTX 560Ti here and everything on high except shadows on normal and textures on Ultra![]()
cool, my web is so slow, but hopefully i can get on in a bit and give it a blast, never thought i would say it, but my internet is now my bottleneck
as for res only 1680 x 1050 as i just have a 21 screen.
You should have no problems running the game on Ultra.
If you do, disable MSAA antialiasing or put it down a notch.
just got a GTX 570, im guessing i can run high?
Same here, my connection is rubbish. At 1680x1050 youll be grand id even try it on ultra as suggested.cool, my web is so slow, but hopefully i can get on in a bit and give it a blast, never thought i would say it, but my internet is now my bottleneck

Yeah, it's very annoying, what router have you got? I am thinking of getting a tp link, got a Thomson at the minute.
You need to disable UPNP on your router to stop the disconnects
Well all was going well until today. All of a sudden 3 locks with looping sound and the lovely BSOD.![]()
thats sounds like the system is stressed, from what i read on the BF3 forums, a CTD is their issue, complete lock up and BS is system overheating/oc unstable
Can someone explain Origin to me? And how the install process works?
Ive just bought the game in a store. I get home, place the CD in, and wait for autorun (which doesn't work, but a side issue). Click install. It installs Origin. I create an account and update the software.
Then nothing. I run the installer from the CD again. Origin opens and asks for my product key. I enter it and click Install.
Now its downloading the game! So what's the point in buying the f'ing thing on disc if I now have to sit and wait for it to DL?
Am I missing something?

Weird that I didn't have one issue all day yesterday or Friday night.
EDIT: You got a link to the thread in question please?
it was more a post in a thread, somewhere on here -
http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/battlefield-3/
that does not help much does it
maybe try killing any overclock for testing purposes
I would do the same, load a default profile in BIOS and see if you have any crashes in game.
The average fps shouldn't change at all from all the benchmarks I've seen.
