Just to add some balance, on my nigh on 4 year old PC this runs absolutely fine. No problems at all. The PC as a platform has so many variants you will never get a game launch where nobody has any issues, that is the nature of the beast I'm afraid. If this was a console release with a lot of issues then I'd see the point in whining.
OK, the teamwork in BF3 isn't spectacular so far, but I remember long nights of trying to find a decent squad on BF2 as well. Sometimes I miss the direction you get from having a commander, but then I also remember the endless "vote mutiny" spamming and annoying commanders who never seem to give you the drops you want. I think elmuzzy66. is right, we need to give it a bit more time to bed in. The only serious gripe I have about it is that the capture points are often a bit too close together, and some of the maps were seriously not designed for 64 players (I'm looking at you, Metro).
