really enjoying the game hated the wide open jet dominated maps of bf2 and this brings back some of the enjoyment of 2142

Worth mentioning that BF3 is running faultlessly for me. There are a couple minor bugs ive picked up in the campaign but nothing to cry about.

Played a good 6 hours of it yesterday and started getting pretty good towards the end when i got the laser sight.

Been out of the loop for over two weeks, plz can someone post a link to the day 1 patch notes or list of changes since BETA?

Also, I had a 13 min bash on saturday but couldnt assign mouse buttons 4, 5 and 6, is there a fix for this?

Had to re-add everyone in Battlelog and missed my chance to get into the OCUK platoon which I was in before :mad:

why the 100 person limit?

So do the stingers only look on to aircrafts? I unlocked it and thought I'd surprise a tank, only to find out I couldnt get the thing to shoot! I think I was the one surprised in that fight :eek:

And on pubs it seems now that on a lot of servers the amount of people whoring stingers has converted to the runway worshipping society. Seems half the time im the only one trying to take jets down.

well if they are too high up you are doing it right, they can't bother anyone when they are out of your range

to deal with the runway lot if they really do your head in is to get a jeep and drive it into them but jump out before it gets to them, the jeep will carry on rolling and kill them

Stinger is a SAM so will only work on uavs, jets and helis, and yes it will lock onto them.

I think it's a good thing, otherwise no-one would be able to fly, the AA vehicle is very good, i was firing one rocket at them to trigger flares, then firing the other when the flares dimmed, they didn't stand a chance.

I think perhaps your giving to much praise for this game, its good but its certainly not great and I suspect when the next big thing comes along (ie cod) the numbers online will be dramatically reduced....its quite clear that the actual bf experience has been am after thought whilst they put in stupid spam maps to try and capture the cod audience. the game frankly isn't great at at anything, bc it doesnt even know what it wants to be.

I'm hoping I'm wrong, only picked this up yesterday and hardly played 10mins, can somebody please tell me how to scope up / zoom and stay that way ? I've mine set to middle mouse button but I hate the fact you have to hold it to remain scoped / zoomed ?

The AA vehicle is insane, just ask Jam0r

Ok so I'll register with The EA Store, I mean Origin, to save myself an hour's headache when it does arrive. Register with Origin, ok they already have my email address from some previous EA cockup, "forgot password" link doesn't work, hilarious, so EA hasn't changed then. I think I'll go back to Deus Ex.

Should have done what I did, buy a CD key (£16) and if it's pants (not saying it is.... yet) you don't feel just as cheesed off
