It does look great. Im loving how you can update the drives firmware from the utility now rather then going through all the hassle of the old way.

Tried to work this out but unsure if this firmware applies to my SSD:

Intel SSDSA2M080G2GC ATA Device

If anyone could help me out I would be most grateful.

cheers :)

Thank you!, only wish i knew about this a month ago when i ran into a Lot of issues trying to get my firmware to update.

Ended up having to put it in another pc and it updated first time :/

Ah nice one thanks for this. Glad to see other dudes with this drive (Intel 320). I thought i was the only one. :D

It's not a firmware, it's a maintenance tool which now includes a firmware updater system :)
That said it will work with yours, I'm pretty sure that the above product code is an X25-M 80GB :)

cheers - I think its an x25m as well but couldn't remember!!

Intel toolbox is a great little tool. I've now managed to setup scheduled weekly automatic trim.

Yeah windows 7 64bit why? It says its recommended to do it once a week, or did in the last version of it i used.

It's there to benefit XP users, who otherwise wouldn't have TRIM functionality. No harm in running it on Win 7 but don't expect it to actually have any impact. Your drive will be Trimmed already.

Fair enough. Any idea how often windows will do that?
