With regards snipers....they seem weaker in BF3 even in hardcore??

Normal Mode
3/4 shots per kill semi auto rifle
2 shots per kill bolt action

Hardcore Mode
2 shots per kill semi auto rifle
2 shots per kill bolt action

In BC2 it was one shot one kill with a bolt action?

The only major annoyance I've had thus far is 2/3 squads of snipers per map just sitting as far away from the action as possible. How have you not experienced a 64 player spam fest on Bazarr or Sienne and Tehran?

I feel the same, some maps are just too small for 64 players and the total tickets are a little low on some servers, not sure if they can be changed yet. I have been on a few servers where one team has been pinned in our own spawn becasue of its bad location.

I really do hope that the back to karkan will have some nice big open maps as at the moment some maps feel far too claustrophobic for a BF game.
 
There was one server in the list that said 1000 tickets the other day but i can't for the life of me find it again. I never joined it so i don't know if it actually had them or not though, i'm finding quite a few of the server descriptions don't match up to how it is when you get on them.

Can't help but laugh when you see the snipers sitting up in the hills on kharg/firestorm, rocks on caspian or their own base on tehran, thinking they're some kind of pro sniper, when they barely hit anything, contribute absolutely nothing to their team and are basically just prats.

Same can be said for the people playing as Support and sitting there with their bi-pods.
 
Uggh, the sooner they bring back the server queue the better. I've literally been sitting here trying to get onto one of my usual servers for the past 20 minutes with no joy. The one time i nabbed a slot quick enough I got the BF3.exe has crash nonsense and had to start over again :mad:

Edit I should moan more often, one click and i got on after typing this post :p

Got a headshot with a tank shell on a sniper on caspian, stick that in yer gun barrel and smoke it. would have loved to have seen the splatter pattern!
 
well I'm 30+hrs into BF3 now and enjoying it immensely, I'm a dirty sniper whore and proud of it :p .. I have no problems with 64player maps and even enjoy Metro conquest !!

finally got a new code from EA for the Physical Warfare pack and the DAO will become my new fave toy after I unlock the extra's for the shiny M98B !

anyone fancy testing Co-Op in the next 5-10mins ? BF3 name in sig
