Which celebs have you met and how were they?

Keira Knightly asked me for some condoms once, seemed nice and down to earth.

That is a really strange request, unless either

1: You were the one that was going to need them :p

2: You were on a fancy dress night out and you dressed as a johnny machine

Top spot though :)

I dated a girl called Rachel Shelley a long time ago, before she was semi famous.

Most notably I have met and spoken to Charlton Heston and David Cameron.

I also met Prince Charles, and am neighbours with Edward Fox and Terry Pratchett.

I know Richard Dawkins (he is my brothers friend and old university prof) and my wife is more than passing friends with Zara Phillips and all the attendant people you meet that way.

Each and everyone has been a normal and surprisingly down to earth person with the exception of Charlton Heston, who was simply the most impressive person I have yet met.

Not to forget meeting Britney Spears on her Onyx tour thanks to my wife who arranged it.

Jealous that you know Dawkins.

Closest I've got to knowing a celebrity was when one of my old school mates was on Crimewatch. :(

Awesome, what were you doing on there?

What?! Details!

Wha.. wait hold up there!

Mods you have a mission now :D

It's a long story.:o

Basically without going into too much Detail my Mum had lost contact with my half-brother in Australia. Sooooo my Mum wrote to the show.

They contacted me and got me too lie to my Mum by saying I had won a competition in a national newspaper. The prize was to go up-to London stay in a 5-star hotel and go and watch a live televised show.

You can guess the rest:D

He was on the next table to me in a restaurant in London recently and I didn't speak to him but he came across as a complete **** looking for attention, just like he does on TV:p

I guess you weren't female or gay! ;)

I've also met James Caan from Dragon's Den a few times as I used to work with him - again scraping the barrell! :p

BB x

Both wrong, although how i wish it was number one :(

I used to work in a garage near the city airport and she came in with her boyfriend who at the time was some Northern Irish model guy. Bought tampons condoms and deodourant so clearly she's up for it anytime ;) I did ask her if any particular type of johnny was of interest, but she just chose the regular ones.

Apparently loads of famous people came in to that garage, but I only ever saw her.

Haha, fair enough, thought it strange for it to have been in a club/bar (first thing that sprung to mind)

After seeing the news and the funeral of Sir Jimmy Saville, I realised that I met him on my way up to Bradford.

My dad worked for Seafish at the time and was giving an award to a fish & chip shop on the way to drop my off in Bradford, and Sir Jimmy was the guest doing the presenting.

He rolled up in a black hummer iirc in a bright red tracksuit, gold chain and cigar. He was a thoroughly nice guy, and just as eccentric as you would expect him to be.

RIP Sir Jim, you fixed it for me on that day ;) lol

Only met 2 that i can remember, nowhere near as impressive as some of the names mentioned (Kelly Brook, Gwen Stefani, Kiera Knightly!?!?) I'd be on rape charges for a fact.

Anyway yea :-

Denise Van Outen - about 1994/5 when i was 14/15, she interviewed me at a WWF show in Birmingham, still the hottest woman i've ever spoken to, in fact the only woman i've ever spoke to. Very nice lady.

Wayne Sleep - Tried to bum me backstage, jk lolz. He was nice too.

:o

How do you people even get a chance to meet these people.

I've never seen/been with anyone famous/look up to.

:(

My cousin and Jay used to skateboard together at school. By chance I was in the market carpark in oakham and he pulled along side me. Asked me if I went to the school and it went from there. Right place at the right time.

I was in a boarding house with Tom Croft and Stewart Broad for a few years. Croft got me into the Beastie boys. Shared a Room with Charlie beech (Bath prop)

As for others at school? Martin Brundle used to walk around as his daughter was there, as did Simon Woodroffe (yo Sushi guy). Lewis Moody used to come watch a few rugby games.

Few Princes walking about; Von Hohenzollern and one from Dubai.

Never met any "celebs", but then I wouldn't know if I did.

Have sold Tim Farron a mop, but he was being a politician supporting local businesses so I won't pass judgement on that encounter.

Jeremy clarkson - At a hotel in yorkshire when he managed to crash a pre-release jag XK8 and held the bonnet down with suitcase straps :D Nice guy but Jesus he liked the sound of his own voice.
