today i was playing metro and i kept getting a wierd glitch where i would suddenly be watching an enemy player - but i opened up the map and the arrow was still on "me" and i could still move and shoot and stuff - its just the camera was on another player - very odd...

That was in regard to unlocking the game early, not playing with a game key designated for another country afaik.

it still weak i bet the russian dvd is even multi region with different languages on it.... it was always the case just more recently they have been able to be gits and lock the games down by region which stinks.
i could go on holiday and buy some games come home and oh what i cant play them.... STINKS!

I've had something similar myself buddy! Albeit on that map with the Big Antenna? Happened when I was repairing a tank, then I suddenly found myself viewing the enemys tank half way across the map!!

what is wierd is that you can spot the enemy that your camera is fixed too as well

Its a given but i don't imagine we'll see it for another few years. Unless of course they want to do a 180 on everything they've said up until now.
He said that making it an annual franchise would ruin it and dilute it.
We will probably see another expansion pack after karkand along the same sort of lines - 4 maps, a few more weapons & vehicles and some more medals / ribbons to obtain. Theres already a space for another of these packs on the Xbox Battlefield 3 store.
And then i'm hoping for a Battlefield Vietnam / BF2142 style expansion of the game using the same engine, but in a different setting.
2013 at the earliest i reckon.

Some great games on Smogsy's just now, i even found Damavand quite enjoyable
I did get annoyed when twice in a row i tried to spawn on a squadmate and it put me back at deployment
Also the round on Kharg Island ended seconds before an enemy tank with 2 people in it was about to go over my mines just in front of him 
I am also finding that i enjoy it more when i pick one objective and attack/defend it for most of the game. If i am squad leader i usually put an order in on one flag and leave it there tbh, in the last game on Firestorn that is where all the action was.
I am getting a constant 60 FPS now with no dips at all on any maps which makes a massive difference i think, before i was getting 30-45
. For me the difference between HBAO and SSAO is minimal, 60 constant with HBAO and 40-60 with SSAO(or the other way around lol). I have turned deffered AA off as well. TBH i do not really notice any difference visually as you are not really concentrating on the eye-candy.
Smogsy, you kicked someone for RPG spamming in one of the games, i just wondered do you as an admin see any stats at all, as in how many shots fired/kills etc?

Altho I've never played it, I'd like to see a addon to make it BF 2142 style, that would be cool.
But yeah it'll be a while till number 4, but I imagine they will release a lot of addons/dlc, but tbh, If they are anything like Karkland seems like its going to be, Ill buy them.
