So far so good. Some very low res textures though even low res for a console. Maybe why its only a 3.8gb install. Hopefully they will improve later on.
The game seems good from the first 30 mins, although the intro sequence to oblivion was a lot better.

I'm thinking there are a few issues with this game as some of the textures are shockingly bad, some just take a while to load. It really looks like an xbox 1 game in parts.... Hopefully this will be patched soon..
Edit - There are reports installing the game forces it into low res mode as there are issues with the 360 hard drive..? Nicely tested this one......

The game is broke big time. Textures fail to load or pop in after a while. I have just run it from disc and some things look better but others worse.
Bethesda are refusing to comment.
Will shelve this until a fix comes along as the patch when started has done nothing.
Surely this came up in testing...?

Are these based on the 360 version or is this on both consoles?
Anyone get it for the PS3 yet? If so whats the views on that?
ign reviewed the 360 version by the look of it and played the pc version as they compared the interfaces
again they mention some shonky textures and some glitching with corpses and flying mammoths
they seem willing to forgive them given the overall scope and vastness of the game and the experience it offers..and so am I

Just out of interest here is a video comparison between the 360 and ps3 versions. Looks like the ps3 version is slightly better.

I imagine this can be fixed with a patch and given the game isn't officially out until tomorrow, one would hope Bethesda have got a patch ready to roll out tomorrow or very shortly after. Unless of course this is a 360 hardware limitation.
I can’t believe how badly they have dropped the ball on this though and of course a patch won't help console players who aren't online or don’t have an internet connection.

I wouldn't worry, it's the core gameplay that matters the most to me, I couldn't really care if a window frame is a bit blurry.

Wondering the same myself. Only recently got my first gaming PC so took the plunge and bought my first 'new release' for it with Skyrim.

There is already a 3mb patch for 360 although not heard about what it fixes yet.
So far the game looks great to me no low res textures that i've noticed, the first few minutes I was pretty stunned at how nice it looked. Sure there might be some issues later but for now its far better than i'd hoped for.
