Really enjoyed my first couple of hours with it. The textures dont detract from anything and no slowdowns at all. I am really loving the world, and dual wielding fire and shock is very nice indeed. The lighting feels very harsh but I am guessing that this is because of the whole Nordic thing. Overall I am very pleased.

I wouldn't have thought so really, the whole fantasy thing isn't for everyone. I know a lot more people who like Fallout but won't play these.
Unless they haven't issued enough copies...but I'd have thought it'd be fine.
 
I have read on the internet(take it as a grain of salt) that there's an issue with installing the game on the 360, which might explain the slow texture load up. Some people are reporting that if you install it to a flash drive it fixes the issue.

Again this is what I've read. I was going to get this for my 360, but I think I'll get it on the PS3 instead.
 
I did see the texture issue is 360 only and only if installed looks to be a bug so may be patched out soon. Did everyone have a "cloth" map in their game? Any idea what the version 2.0 patch does?
 
Just got a phone call from the girlfriend and my copy has arrived for the PS3, great timing too as I am off tomorrow and monday..... long weekend of Skyrim sweeettt:D

DAMNIT! I ordered copies for both the PC and PS3, but only the PC copy has arrived, which I only ordered for when the mods start coming out. :( I guess Amazon held back the console versions, since you can't play the PC version until tomorrow anyway. Ah well, only one more day I hope.
 
Anyone having probs activating the 3 pillars in the Bleak Falls Barrow? i keep pressing the use button(A)but nothing happens? 360 version.
