Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

Fell through the map but was still able to fire at enemies. Managed to rack up 15 kills with my shotgun. No one could see me or hurt me. Ended up running out of ammo and had to commit suicide.

Was fun while it lasted.
 
Finally picked someones f2000 up tonight with infa red scope my god no wonder people own with it :eek:
Last game on smogsys server was kinda embarrassing as gord and his merry men totally delt us a can of woopass lol .....

Cheers, TBH all I did was Google some reviews and took note of what they overclocked the same model card to and just put mine to the same :p I don't want to faff around with testing at 5MHz increments etc as I had enough of that with the i5 so kind of jumped right in!

I was sure you had OC'ed you 460 when you got it (remembering the 460 thread...)? I had to remove my overclock on BF3 as it was giving me artifacts all over the screen. But I have not tried a lower OC since.

tis a godlike gun :D but it will get nerfed just like the ump cause nabs will rage
 
I think of myself as a calm, relaxed person but I just had my first proper rage quit. Was playing some HC Squad Rush late at night, which so far has always been with mature players and which is usually a lot of fun. Turns out we had a guy on our team who didn't like how we were playing (even though he was at the bottom of the score board and the teams were quite even) who started accusing of of not knowing how to play, blah blah. He then starts team killing us all and leaves. Then next round I get team killed again by a guy, no apology, nothing, pretty sure it was on purpose. What is wrong with these people? Why even bother?

They nerfed the UMP?? My most accurate gun at just under 18% accuracy :)
Been killed loads of times by the f-2000 tho, most used gun i see on across the servers.
Lol, by the time i unlock it it will be a normal gun. Oh well, as long as they sort out the infra-red nonsense i'll be happy enough.

Not sure if it's the lack of audio, the iron sight or just being new to the maps but I haven't killed anyone cleanly. All my kills have been in the tank as the top gunner :/

Tried the practice flight servers but despite having good heli. control there are level 50 players with missiles, flares and jets so it's just a massive rape-athon.

You need 3-5 kills tops in jets to get flares/missiles unlocked. Same for heli's I guess (I can't fly heli's). So it is dead easy to get the unlocks

:( only tip I can give is use the external view to find the other jets/helis (you can see more from the outside), then switch to cockpit view to take them out once you have them in your sights. Good luck though m8, nightmare when they rape the base while you are taking off though.
