Xbox360 dashboard update, finally here?

It's not available to everyone yet, you need to be in the preview program. I think it goes live on the 25th for everyone else.

Mine froze the first time and I didn't want to switch the 360 off, went to a friends house to fix his PC and came back, no progress so bit the bullet and powered off the 360 and it's installing fine now.
 
Anyone actually read the NDA and care to share what we can and can't say?

I'm assuming just admitting we're in on it is punishable by death?

I like the last one, considering they asked if I was press, and I said yes.
 
Haha I was actually trying to find the agreement they mention, having a search on the forum now.
 
I've not downloaded it yet, but apparently there is now an easy in-dash way of disabling Auto-Renewal, which is good.
 
I'll only say that the cloud saving thing is going to cause an increase to the Xbox support lines from Joe Public. :D

They didn't for me. I logged in last night, found out I'd been accepted (which I kinda expected, I've been in all the Dashboard betas so far), then had the new Dash inside a couple of hours. Looks very nice too IMO. Really looking forward to seeing how Cloud saving will work, it'll definitely be better for me as I want to get my space Xbox set up and connected to my computer upstairs for when the wife wants the TV.

I never got email. I saw Major Nelson post on Twitter so I was like "wtf mate" and checked that site and I was accepted, got my code and was excited :D

I think the new look and feel is a lot better than the previous ones and it's smoother and faster.
 
I'm in the program but I don't have the update, even tried forcing it through 'test connection' but nothing :(
