The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

Ok, regarding the sound crackling issues some people have been having, I managed to get my sound card working again with X Fi features on full without crackles by changing the sound to 16 bit 48k Hz.

I couldnt play without X Fi crystalizer on full, I need it to boost the volume. When I had it off I was struggling to hear stuff with my headphones and windows volume slider on full.

Now it sounds the same volume as that turned down to 50% without any crackilng :)
 
Yup, gave it another 1 hour today, really not me this sort of thing, if you can sell these games (on Steam) let me know and someone else can have it.

That's my worry, I like RPGs but just could not get into Oblivion at all. Need to find a friend that has Skyrim so I can just try it out before wasting any monies.

Urgh, my GAME is such a pain in the arse :(. I want the guide but can no way justify paying 17.99+ on it. Guess I'll have to wait for the price to drop a bit.

How is it laughable? There have been a long list of big titles that Nvidia have had beta drivers out ready for release, whilst it has taken at least a month for AMD to get their drivers out. There are some games that we are STILL waiting for profiles to be developed. Rage still isn't fixed properly, F1 2011 still can't even be run with crossfire - with so few new releases on the PC these days, it makes you wonder what AMD are actually doing?

There was only a 9.99 sticker on a big pile of them next to the counter. You should have asked them.

That's what my mum said I should have done, they were all busy though and it was nearly closing time so I left it. I'll give 'em a ring tomorrow to see if it's still 9.99, won't get my hopes up though :o.

Bring the console up & type 'sexchange'

Then change it back again with the same command. Apparently this works although I haven't had to try it myself.
 
Blown away with this game, simply looks amazing found this on my travels its probably been seen before but i thought it was excellent don't worry no spoilers.

 
I think this pretty much confirms this has passed the 1,000,000 sold mark. Nearly 200,000 playing at the same time and America won't of hit peak yet.

not for me ive just disabled it and it runs the same if not better the scaling is all over the shop.

99% on both gpus inside and down to 30 out side...

loads with same probs tho ive only been reading about people with 580s..

what cards you got???sorry just seen ur sig...what usage you getting???
