So, I pickup a copy at Asda, open it, pop it in the dvd drive, enter serial number, activates on steam, proceeds to download 6gb...

Is there anything actually on the ******* disc I just bought?! I've ran the disc setup again and it just switches back to Steam.

Yes I'm aware it's a Steam game, but why am I having to download 6gb on a 500kb/s connection when all the data I need is on the disc?

Ugh.

Uninstalled, which obviously took less than 5 seconds as nothing was installed. Tried to install again and it worked.

Hold Q, hover over an item and assign it a number from 1-9. Press the appropriate number to switch.

I actually think Arknor's got a bug on the go, I saw mention on the official forums of graphics stuck on low when I was ranting about the non-bindable keypad.

There is a graphics issue on the Xbox 360 where the textures downscale too much if you install the game to the hard drive.

Maybe the same is happening on the PC to some extent.

Indeed, i think it looks stunning. As i said it looks much better for me on my tv though, at a lower res. I might actually buy a new full HD tv!

Not sure if it's been posted yet, but press ¬ for the console, and type fov xx to change the crappy default 60 field of view.
