Is it like oblivion, but more photorealistic textures? or is there more variety to give a rich feeling. All youtube footage is on consoles

and pc footage ends up being 10x better than whats on youtube.

I knew if I opened this thread I would end up buying this game. I have BF3 and loving it. I was going to wait a couple of month before buying this.

I am only getting 30 - 40 fps outside with everything on ultra but my CPU never goes above 50%, it uses hardly any memory and doesnt max out my gfx card? This is with v sync disabled.

Thats normal for this game - it only uses 2 CPU cores, and GPUs only get stressed to around 50%.

As I've mentioned several times, the best way to improve performance in Skyrim is by overclocking the CPU:

Not only do they stock them, they were one of the first to get the game despatched and delivered.

Someone in this thread that works at a tesco store had a full palette of Skyrim copies.

I wasn't initially that impressed with the graphics, until I enabled FXAA as well as 4xAA
WOW! soooo much better (everything else on high @ 1080p) The FxAA seems to have given the graphics an almost matt effect? Hard to explain but the world looks MUCH more realistic.
Only an hour in but really enyoying it so far

We have two big Tesco stores within 40 miles and not one stocks PC games in store

Hence why I did my pre-order online.

At the begining of the game where you can either choose to follow the Legion guy or the stormcloak guy, can you at a later date choose to join the opposite faction? Or when you make your choice then you can't go back?

anyeone noticed the issue with the horses and dieing:

I died with horse, my last save was without the horse, so bought one - did same path and came across my old horse ?!?!? but techinically its not the same save....parellel dimensions lol.
