The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced



So damn tempted. Don't know if I want Skyrim or MW3 more though although I'm sure my sisters boyfriend (Who needs my computer for games :D) will get MW3 for Christmas so I'm tempted to just order it.
 
If you cant decide on Skyrim over MW3 ....

Whilst playing skyrim and going into the inventory screen my display driver keeps crashing does anyone know any fixes?

My gpu is 9800gtx + Nividia and the driver i am using is 285.79

Go look at the steam gameplay stats, look how many more people are playing Skyrim than contemporary warfare 3, that should help you decide.

Hmm, game running perfectly for me on the same drivers. Guess I would try re-installing either the game or drivers or both.
 
Difficulty

Anyones thoughts on difficulty?
I've opted for the Expert level. Although I'd turn it up one notch from Adept (default setting). I chose this once I was given opportunity to look at inventory in that room at the start.

Maximum difficulty all the way. Anything else is for wimps! ;)
 
Oh yea, when I turned the difficulty up to Adept, I couldnt kill trolls :x

Maybe increasing the difficulty should be done later.
 
Okay okay, settle down people :( :p. Another question, should I get an Xbox 360 controller for PC? I already have a PS2 to PC adapter but faffing around with mappers can be annoying. Any other games that a pad is superior to KB&M in?
 
Just received my Skyrim PC version about 10 mins ago via Postman :) ,installing as I'm typing this post,at least I've my new PC built from last Friday for this game :) .

Cheers for that but I also added a couple more questions seconds after I'd posted that:

  1. When looking through my items list at all the weapons, lets say I had many swords, axes, maces etc, I struggled to workout which were 1h and which were 2h, does it have a symbol somewhere to state which is which?
  2. I have those two default spells from start of the game, think I am night elf or something and have that electric bolt and a fire bolt, is it possible to duel wield two fireballs or two electric balls instead of one of each?

I prefer it in GTA4 and driving games, get a smoother turning circle than using a keyboard I find.
