The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

Had a go for about an hour or so, the game installed fine and it detected my settings as high and the correct monitor resolution. No idea what my fps is but it runs very well. I have an I7 [email protected], 4gb or memory and a GTX 470. Look a lot different that oblivion a lot more darker and dreary.

Game is weird. GPU usage goes down to 40% in some places therefore making the framerate go down to about 35-40. This is with a i2500k at 4.3GHZ

It clearly doesnt use more than a couple of cores so what more do you need to get a constant 60fps on ultra with no cpu bottleneck??

Amazed that the game hasn't crashed once for me after 10 or so hours. Won't hold out on that though. :p

The UI takes a bit getting use to and some of the changes are a bit annoying like instantly selling an item at a trader instead of selecting it.

Are Dragons quite weak in the game? I was at a Giant camp and one randomly came down and attacked. I let the Giants and Mammoths deal with it and they owned it barely taking any damage.

New drivers can't come quickly enough tbh(if that is the problem) Saying that though, i can't believe the people complaining about the graphics, it looks amazing for me(fair enough some of the textures aren't that great but overall it is stunning)

Screenshots do not do this game justice, nowhere near!

258,500 now!

Has anyone bought the house in Whiterun yet & if so what do you think of it? Worth the 5k?

I'm trying to save for it just to have somewhere to keep all my stuff! Running around with hardly any room in my bag sucks, having to leave half the loot i come across!
