Cool, I'll have a look tonight as well - I opted for the PS3 version though, but will be the same ( but obv just R1 or square or summit)
 
Can't wait to get home from work, do the jobs, clean the kitchen, cook some dinnner, help settle kids for bed, read them a story, spend some time with my wife then play Skyrim from 21:58 to 22:13 before I am probably too nackered and end up going to bed.

Rinse repeat tomorrow and so on, ah this game should last me a couple of years at this rate.

No, you should be able to store the dragon souls and then use them to unlock shouts as soon as you learn a new one. I've done it this way myself and should work fine. You need to actually unlock the shout from within your spells menu though, it won't do it automatically as soon as you learn it, even if you have dragon souls already.

Don't know how fast it would level it, but you can make leather gear really easy by just going out and hunting various animals, then using their pelts to create leather. If I wanted to level it quickly that's what I'd try.

Sounds familiar. I have a baby due in Feb so I must be finished by then! :D

See that's the thing - I killed a dragon and absorbed it's soul. When I wanted to unlock a new shout after reading the words/soaking it up, I was told that I didn't have a dragon soul.
 
I have a lot of time on my hands at the moment, but just not much will to play the game lol.

I might have started the same annoyance I did with Oblivion... Starting a new char everytime I reach level 15 :(
 
Managed to beat the spider, and retrieved the Dragon Stone. I did get a scroll/book that gave me some sort of fireball magic, which was better than the fire I already had. It's disappeared now though - was it a temp thing or have I borked it?

Need to stop playing this half asleep, I get the impression I'm not paying enough attention to half of what I'm doing!

Scrolls are one shot, books let you learn the spell :)
 
Ok guys has anyone done the mage quest? Reason I ask is there is a guy around that town that asks you to test these scrolls... Only problem is when I use the scroll it kills me in 1 hit. So this leads me on to my next question, I'm pumping Magicka as my level up stat, do I need to level up health a bit?
 
My char has 3 aarows stuck out of his head.... Lol. Has my game glitched or can I get rid of them....been there since lvl 5 but now starting to bug me.
