Because no one presses Q anymore, and with good reason: press Q = everyone turning towards that target and shooting to take the kill.

I "Q" constantly, so much so I sometimes forget to shoot.

its a teambased game, not MW3 or cod or cs.
q should be obligatory, unless your a sniper and needs that 999m headshot.

It was an empty server at first, so once it started to fill, it was pretty easy to rack up the points without someone spotting you constantly.

I'm always spotting. It's either our plane being chased by another and not realising, or some enemy soldiers have broken through our line and I'm tryiing to highlight thee fact as most people are oblvious and generally just care about getting frags.
So I leave these people to do that and normally rush in on my own to kill them all. Last night I ran at a tank killing most people me just on the off chance I could get an AT mine down behind/infront before he saw me and I died. Pedo mines get you wherever you are
Mumble was excellent last night and I prefer it to TS and Vent!
Tell that to all the kdr whoring thick as mince players. Always amusing to watch a bunch of em just stare at the eod bot whilst it arms/disarms. Not so amusing to find a squad member camped in the same position for the whole round and have only scored a 100 points max.
Anyone recommend a button for push-to-talk that BF3 doesn't use?
If Raw Mouse Input is set to 'off' on the first options screen you cannot change any mouse binds. You should be playing with it switched 'on' anyway to remove mouse acceleration/smoothing.
You fail,it doesn't work for cheap items like Back to Karkand said to cost $15 as I already own BF3 so...
No worries though, I'm sure there will be another EA store blunder this xmas. :>
Actually the discount didnt apply at all to BF3 (some bs from EA about the codes not working in the first 30 days of game launch) but by some strange quirk it did apply to the mappack, so not fail - bag of WIN
