Just returned to the game after a wee break (skyrim). God people level quick while your away. Gonna be honest and say I didn't enjoy my game to much, after being repeatedly killed by invr scopes. Play BF3 over MW3 for the realism and that scope is just mad. Hopefully they will get it sorted soon.

Having not played this for 5 or so days since Skyrim came out I haven't had a game where I am not infuriated.

This game doesn't help my blood pressure AT ALL.

I wan't to enjoy it, maybe I just hate playing with other people..

I go so angry with BC2! It sorta put me off at times. But BF3 has been fineee

It was cruel and unusual punishment for me until I got the flashlight and started actually fairing a little better in 1v1's. Noticed a lot less people are using them now though, presumably an unlock that's more use further down the line?

I'm going to move from Support class to something else once I've got my second resupply medal because I'm getting pretty bored with the M249. Only thing is I don't want to lose my flashlight or IRNV!

I hear the KH2002 for Assault is pretty handy, just need a little more co-op points to unlock it. Good choice?

Tanks are really vulnerable on Tehran Highway because they have to stick to the roads. They can't go roaming over the landscape like other maps, which means a few well located mines will stop them getting too far. Also theres a lot of cover for RPGs to duck behind between shots. The flyover highway tends to stop mortars touching the flag in the middle as well. Can't say ive even been hit by a mortar on this map either.

Having said that its surprising how easily a team can dominate all flags if the opposition aren't putting enough effort in.

Anyone have any idea what a good FOV setting would be for running BF3 on a 42-inch LCD @ 1360x768?

It's nice being able to have everything maxed-out but I just left the FOV at it's default setting - should it be any different at a relatively low resolution?

Couldnt get into BF3 this evening so bailed early.

Smogs, we need a white list on that server, its a damn nightmare to get into sometimes.

Just had the same thing, in a round where I was absolutely on fire with the jets. 12 vehicle destroy ribbons, and 6 or 7 air warfare ribbons. I still seem to have got them and the points though.

Had a few crashes tonight, first time it froze and i had to hard reset, second time bf3 exe has stopped responding. Bit frustrating as i was doing pretty well.

Just had a really annoying admin use the Admin Kill on me several times because he wanted the A10. Prat. Still, I ended up with a higher score and got the Anti-vehicle medal. Next stop, Air Warfare medal...

One of my favourite things I remember from BF2 was throwing C4 onto the flag cloth and waiting for the invincible black hawks to swoop down to capture the flag then bang 6 kills. Had tons of fun with this. That's what I like about the BF series its finding new ways to get easy kills lol.

you are aware that the consoles have their own map designs that are smaller than the PC versions right ?

If DICE wanted the PC maps to be any bigger, they could do. Its got nothing to do with consoles.
