****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

:D

oh mrk, i tried out leomar's checkrom the other day, all going ok, till I downloaded something from one of the menus, might've been something Dive or Kies related, can't remember. Anyway upon restart I got a million TW force closes and it spazzed out, and I had to do a restore. What did I do wrong?

Must be kies related, I'm using checkrom 3.1.1 with no issues. I use Dive but no kies.

mrk, do you already undervolt your CPU?

JAMAL, that kernel undervolts more than you can undervolt on Siyah (afaik it's only CPU with apps/scripts and GPU with scripts on Siyah).

If I were to use that kernel I'd undervolt the CPU than that does by default.

Ah cheers for the info, i was going to start looking at undervolting :)

Might try it, I cant be bothered slowly decreasing the voltage to find out the best settings, like with siyah. I want a dev to do that for me and I just flash the kernel:p

I didn't lower the voltages slowly, I lowered them all by 75-125mV based on what someone else said was stable for them, it's been fine at that for ages now :p. Decided I should try lowering them some more earlier, so now all frequencies are undervolted 100-125mV instead :). This is only the CPU though as undervolting the GPU requires making a script which I cba doing, and the other stuff isn't changable in Siyah :(.

Off topic but the new double vibrate on long-pressing in Swiftkey is ****ing doing my head in :(.

care to share all your voltage settings?

Can anyone tell me if there's a way to turn off the 'Voice Talk' that comes up if you double-tap the Home button? Stock firmware, if that makes a different. Not rooted.
