The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

What armour is the best? is it worth spending a few hours training smithing or something to be able to make my own armour? and how can I afford the bars to use for smithing?

You obviously can sell the stuff you make whilst building up your smithing skills.

Valuable types of armour dont generate any extra smithing xp as far as i can tell, so the quickest way to level up your smithing is making iron daggers and leather bracers.

You have probably been finding gems? gems + gold or silver = valuable jewellery.

I have been trying to build up my enchantment skills as well, so I have been enchanting all items of jewellery that I have which increases its sale value somewhat. (though if you are buying soul gems, you will lose quite a bit per transaction)

Personally I would say I made a lot of money selling stolen goods. Also you need to make cash by clearing dungeons!

I have found that the monatary rewards can be a bit off. I got awarded 500 gold for delivering someone spiced beef for their dog from one end of a town to another. ??

The Daedric artifacts are brilliant, i only have 3 so far, but the quests to get them are probably the best in the game so far for me as well.

The Sanguine Rose comes in very handy on occasions

I've noticed that to and similar i got paid either 250 or 500 (forgotten) for delivering an item to another bloke in the same room! :D

Thats the best reward i've come across so far, he certainly likes to get stuck in!

Quite a nice helmet you've made there.

Did you create that using an enchanment potion?

I used a 5% enchanters potion I made myself.

Erm, an Eleven Helmet? Wth is that when it's at home, shouldn't it say Elven?

Lol at the armour typo :D

Not a typo. I only had 30 seconds buff from the potions so I renamed them to something simple. It was Elven, I just added an E. And as for the ring and neck I added Eleven so they would all sit nicely together in my bags :)

Currently level 51. Had to crank the game to hardest difficulty as my char become very overpowered after enchanting his gear 1 shoting everything in sight with my bow. Still not done the main quests and about to hit labby on mages quests chain.

Brotherhood was a fun quests chain seemed a little short tho.

I wont fin thieves guild quests until lockpicking maxed (people who done the quest chain will understand reasons).

The game I feel is great but still preferred morrowind and oblivion (probably due to the modding caperbilitys.)

Once all the main side quests are done I will start on the main quests So I should have the game finished in couple of days so far 87 hours played.

My char is a jack of all trades I am specked light armor, blade, destruction, archery.

Think Lydia is bugged.

I left her at home so I could go off galavanting with my new buddies from the Companions. When I got back home she hadn't done any tidying up at all. She'd even left cobwebs everywhere

You prefer them due to Modding capabilities? Its been out a week, the construction kit isn't even out yet and there's already plenty of mods coming out .

I'm up to the "Get the horn" main story quest but I want a break from it. I'm mainly a sword and shield guy but I'm getting my Archery and Sneak up at the minute. Is there any side quests you'd recommend me doing to get better armour and weapons? I'm level 6.
