Maybe that suppression / concussion effect for those inside, or 10% off a Humvee, but nothing dramatic. I know what you mean, though - I've been trying to play as squad medic recently, and there's nowt worse than not being able to do anything about a poxy Hummer :D

I say "trying", because the team-play is so varied. Being in a decent squad is make-or-break for whether I have a good game - not score-wise, though it helps :) I mean I can't bear it when you get dumped in a squad and one loner's camping out in the hills, someone's in a jet, and the last one is driving past in a tank, not bothering to pick you up as gunner :mad:

Pretty bad that people are just fine to use hacks. Most bizarrely, they clearly like the games, but feel the need to cheat.. most odd :rolleyes:

Surely it can't be that hard for PB to take this software and detect it/screen shot it?

It isn't, but these companies release updates most days. These people get paid to make these hacks, so it's a job to them :)

The ocuk mumble server is active most guys on there are usually on Smogsys server the Killer creation broken gaming server is active as well.

Are there no unlocks for assault atall that can deal with a vehicle then? thats pants.

Good to know the nades can do something to them, I just find it annoying that I can roll one right under the tank/hummer and it does nothing :P

Best thing you can do as an assault is to launch smoke grenades not only it acts as cover, but if you launch them at the tank your team mates can run and C4 it :) I'm not sure how much damage the grenade does thow

Grenades shouldn't do anything.. they are anti-infantry devices, designed to kill via shrapnel and the concussive effect. They are not designed blow holes in things. (Which is different to an RPG as far as I'm aware).

I had an e7200 @ 3.1Ghz and an 8800gts 512 and could play it fine all on low. I upgraded to an ATI 6850 and found the FPS wasn't really changing whether I had it on low or high, which obviously indicated it was CPU bottlenecked. I've since then upped my OC to 3.3, and it runs much better now. I can have it on all high, no AA, and get around 45fps on all maps. Still get a bit of stutter every now and then on 64 player maps, but I'm going to put another 4gb of RAM and see if that helps.

In short, yes he'll probably be bottlenecked, but a bit of overclocking should help.
 
i asked before but does anyone know if i can use my xbox headset on my pc?

is it just a case of plug it in and away i go or do i need a specfic mic?

I dont know im afraid, I have the 360 controller with a USB attachment and its plug and play...best way is to give it a try :D
